Saturday, May 14th, saw our carpark become a bicycle park for a few hours as the community came together to celebrate National Bike Week 2022. A Bike Repair Workshop was held to demonstrate how to carry out simple repairs on a bike. This workshop was a huge success – it not only taught participants a new skill but helped foster the idea of repairing goods rather than buying new. Approximately 30 families were in attendance and were very happy with the support they received from getting tyres pumped to getting the fittings bike perfected. There were bike related goodies for all who attended. Some local school children took it to the next level and started Cycle On Wednesdays and cycled to school. Well done everyone!
