The Big Breakfast returns to Ballinahown this St Patrick’s Day and promises to be a fun morning for all the family.

Organised by the Parents Association of St Colmcille’s NS, Ballinahown, the Big Breakfast will be held in the village hall from 9am until 12.30pm.

Elaine and Leigh Denby from A Slice of Life are once again on board to cater the event, with both full Irish and breakfast roll options available.

A bake sale will also be held on the morning, with a range of delicious freshly baked goods supplied by parents.

“We are delighted to see the return of the Big Breakfast this year,” said principal of St Colmcille’s NS, Thomas Keena. “Like many events, it fell victim to Covid 19 and had to be cancelled the last two years, but we are really excited that it can go ahead this year.

“Not only is it the school’s main fundraiser for the year, but it is a key event on the social calendar locally. It is heartening to see families and the community gathering again and we know people are really looking forward to it.”

The parents’ association is grateful to all of the sponsors of the event, whose support makes it possible to host the Big Breakfast.

So why not come along to Ballinahown Community Hall between 9am and 12.30pm on St Patrick’s Day and get your day off to a great start.
