Weekly Mini Market

Fasach is home to Ballinahown’s community polytunnel and chicken coop and provides produce for Ballinahown’s Weekly Mini Market. Local households provide suitable food scraps for the chickens, and participating households receive fresh eggs. Any extra eggs and organic vegetables are available to buy outside the Community Space on Saturdays using an honesty box. The project helps reduce food waste, supports local food growing and gives people in the community something to share.
