Hall Booking Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking Ballinahown Community Hall . By proceeding with your booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Booking and Payment

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

The booking fee covers the rental of the hall for the agreed-upon time and date.

Any additional services or equipment requested will incur extra charges.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations must be made 2 days (48 hours) prior to the booking date for a full refund.

The hall management reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be provided.

Use of the Hall

The hall must be used for the purpose stated on the booking form.

The hall may be rented for events such as training courses, classes, meetings, etc. The maximum capacity is 100 people. This limit must not be exceeded.

The hall must be left in a clean and tidy condition, with all rubbish removed. A €30 cleaning fee will be charged if the hall is left in an undesirable state.

No decorations or alterations to the hall are permitted without prior written consent. Do not use nails, tape, or anything that could damage the walls or ceiling. You are responsible for setting up and removing your decorations and equipment.

The hirer is responsible for any damage caused to the hall or its contents during the booking period. You are responsible for any damage caused to the hall, including fixtures, fittings, or equipment. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to you.

Noise levels must be kept to a reasonable level.

Compliance with all fire safety regulations is mandatory.

The Hall is a non-smoking venue.

4. Liability

The hall management shall not be liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises.

The hirer is responsible for ensuring adequate public liability insurance for their event.

Ballinahown Community Development will not be held liable for injuries, accidents, or property loss during your event. Please send a copy of your indemnity to our email address before your booking.

The hirer indemnifies the hall management against any claims arising from their use of the hall.

5. General

All bookings must be made in advance via our website: www.ballinahownvillage.com. The online calendar will show current availability.

Community Groups: The rental fee is €15 per hour (or part thereof) and must be paid at the time of booking. A payment link will be sent once your booking is confirmed. Please remember to book any setup or preparation time you may need.

Commercial/Non-Community Groups: Please email your booking request to ballinahownhall@gmail.com.

You must have insurance for your event. Ballinahown Development Association must be indemnified—please provide proof of indemnity.

Using the Kitchen – You may use the Burco for tea/coffee. Use of other kitchen equipment is not permitted unless specifically approved in advance via email

The hall management reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
