Ballinahown Village is in the enviable position of achieving regular success in the National Tidy Towns competition. This is achieved by a combination of strategic vision, team work, committment of volunteers, council funding, fundraising, functioning Tidy Towns committee, buy-in and support from residents, support from local CE Scheme participants, effective communication of projects and vision, support from local businesses and co-operation between local development committees.
