The Tranquillity Garden
Beside Ballinahown Community Hall, the Tranquillity Garden offers a peaceful place to pause and enjoy nature. Its beautiful sensory planting attracts butterflies and bees while creating a sense of calm throughout the seasons.
The garden’s water features are made from recycled aeroplane engines, generously supplied by a local business, and use recycled water.
A Butterfly bench was created and carved from a fallen oak tree to commemorate James O’Brien. (RIP) James was a member of the Ballinahown Community Development and was a great support in the group and to the village in general. It’s a beautiful addition to a beautiful community space.
